Updated Address for Mailing 2009 Dues - (20090202)

All homeowners should have recieved by now a letter from Timmons. In that letter, the payment address for the association fees was listed incorrectly. The correct address is:

Sheffield on the Harpeth

C/O Timmons Properties Inc.

2200 Hillsboro Road Ste 200

Nashville, TN 37212

Checks should be made out to "Sheffield on the Harpeth HOA."

The letter goes on to warn against sending your dues to the Nashville office, but in fact, this is what you are to do. The reason for this misunderstanding is that Timmons was not informed until just recently that the terms of our loan with SunTrust for the pool construction required that we keep our accounts with them and that we would not be using the bank Timmons uses.

You will be receiving an official invoice in March for the dues and the information will be correct on it.

Board Hires New Management Company - (20090201)

We are pleased to announce that your Board has hired Timmons Popertites Inc as the new management company for the Sheffield on the Harpeth Homeowners Association. This transition takes effect immediately on February 1, 2009. We are very excited to be working with Ms. Tina Belton of Timmons as our community manager.

A reminder to Homeowners - (20050820)

All exterior changes to your property must have prior approval. Some examples of changes include maintaining your mailbox, painting trim or shutters, replacing your windows or replacing your front storm door. Details are in our Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions. Use this convenient form which includes instructions for submission.

This requirment is attached to your deed which you signed when you purchased your home. We strongly recommend that you seek and get approval before finalizing any purchase with a contractor.

Please do not put yourself in a situation where you must make expensive changes after a job is complete when you could have made a few minor changes from the start. It is not difficult to get approval.

New Website Feature - E-mail List Server - (20050603)

We've added a new capability - our own e-mail list server. At the urging of our good neighbor Kevin Crane, we've created a general purpose e-mail list server. Once you subscribe to the list, you can send and will receive e-mails from other subscribers. This way, we can hold virtual conversations on issues that interest you in the neighborhood. If you subscribe and just want to watch the conversations, that's okay ... "Lurkers" are welcome. And if you find yourself moved to participate, the more the merrier.
